Today inWestern Civ, we continued to take notes on Ancient Greece. The first thing we took notes on was about the clash of the Tyrants. We learned that Hippias was a Tyrant who ruled from 527 to 510 BCE. He became so violent because his brother was killed. Eventually he was ostracized from Athens, meaning he could never return. In revenge, he began working with the Persian King Darius I, helping them invade marathon.
